It's fun to work in a company where people truly BELIEVE in what they're doing
We're committed to bringing passion and customer focus to the business.
The Role
We are seeking an exceptionally talented and experienced Senior Product Marketing Manager to join our dynamic product marketing team.
In this role, you will be responsible for developing and executing strategic marketing plans to promote our email security products.
Your role will be critical in defining our go-to-market strategies, positioning our products and services effectively, and driving successful product and market awareness for our email security solutions.
You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including product management, corporate marketing, and sales, to ensure that our products and services meet the needs of our target customers and remain competitive in the market.
Your Day-to-DayMarket Research:
Conduct in-depth research to understand market trends, customer needs, and our competitive landscape. Be an expert on our competition and how they are positioned. Translate this knowledge into actionable insights for sales, customer success, corporate marketing, product management and more.
Positioning and Messaging:
Be the expert on our buyers – who they are, how they buy, and their buying criteria. Craft clear and concise messaging, positioned against trends observed among our prospects and customers. Messaging will emphasize our differentiators in order to develop a compelling narrative that resonates with our target audience.
Launch Execution:
In partnership with product management, corporate marketing, competitive intelligence, and sales teams, lead the planning and launch of new capabilities, releases, and manage the cross-functional execution of the plan.
Support incremental updates and feature launches throughout the year with end-to-end launch strategy in order to generate awareness and drive demand.
Sales Enablement:
Understand and support our direct and indirect sales channels; create and deliver effective enablement knowledge, content, and tools that help sellers identify opportunities and communicate our unique value.
Content Creation:
Create compelling content including product presentations, videos, blogs, collateral (e.g., datasheets, solution briefs), byline articles, and more to effectively communicate the value of products and solutions to customers and prospects and accelerate the buyer's journey.
Highly experienced content presenter to internal and external audiences, including sales training, user conferences, webinars, industry conferences, and analyst briefings.
Collaboration:
Build strong working relationships and collaborate closely with product management, corporate marketing, competitive intelligence, and sales teams to ensure alignment on release benefits in order to achieve business goals.
Customer Advocacy:
Identify and leverage customer success stories and testimonials to strengthen our marketing efforts and showcase the impact of our product and services updates.
Product Marketing & Cybersecurity Expertise:
8+ years of experience in product marketing. Email security, cybersecurity, or enterprise IT experience strongly preferred.
Cybersecurity Market Understanding:
Strong understanding of one or more email security, cybersecurity or enterprise IT, including trends, and customer pain points.
Cybersecurity Product Aptitude:
In depth familiarity with cybersecurity products and a willingness to learn and understand the technical aspects of our products to create content, including
demonstrations.
Market-Centric:
Proven experience marketing to enterprises and technical buyers with a market-focused mindset with a track record of using prospect, customer, and analyst insights to drive marketing strategies.
Results-Driven:
Analytical mindset with a bias toward action with a demonstrated ability to drive results, improve pipeline generation and conversion through effective product marketing strategies by developing value-driven messaging and content.
Communication Skills:
Gifted storyteller, and exceptional written, verbal communication, and presentation skills, with the ability to simplify complex technical concepts for a non-technical audience into business benefits that resonate with prospects and customers.
Must be a strong public speaker, comfortable in front of internal and external audiences – over Zoom and in person.
Collaboration:
Demonstrated cross-functional leadership, proven ability to collaborate effectively with all levels of cross-functional teams, including product management, sales, corporate marketing, and third parties.
Deep curiosity, excellent listening skills, empathy and support for coworkers, and ability to get things done in a collaborative team environment.
Engagement:
High energy and enthusiasm – the type that is contagious with its potential to influence other teams.
Travel:
Willingness to travel to events and meetings, including to international locations, but travel is expected to be under 25% and in accordance with company health and safety policies.
