    Speech Language Pathologist

    2024/25 School Year

    Location: Marion, Ohio area

    Position Overview:

    As a School-Based Speech Language Pathologist with Soliant, you will have the important responsibility of supporting students' speech and language development. Collaborating closely with educators and parents, you will evaluate, diagnose, and offer intervention services for students dealing with communication disorders. This role presents a valuable chance to contribute to the academic achievement of our students while nurturing a positive and inclusive school atmosphere.

    Responsibilities:

    • Conduct comprehensive assessments of students' speech, language, voice, and fluency capabilities.
    • Develop and execute personalized treatment plans and IEPs to tackle speech and language objectives.
    • Keep track of and record student advancement, making adjustments to interventions when needed.
    • Deliver direct therapy sessions to students, both one-on-one and in group settings.
    • Cooperate with teachers, parents, and other school professionals to establish a united support system for students, participating in meetings as required.

    Qualifications:

    • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
    • Active or Pending Ohio licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist.
    • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) or Clinical Fellowship applicants are recommended to apply.
    • Previous experience with school-aged children and familiarity with special education procedures.
    • Excellent interpersonal and teamwork abilities.
