Mechanical Engineer 3

Location :

Decatur , IL(Onsite)Job Description & Skill Requirement:
First responder for Large Mining Truck and Large Wheel Loader manufacturing issues.
Engineering changes for manufacturing issues and current product field issues

Candidate value proposition:

Typical task breakdown:
Support the manufacturing facility to rapidly resolve light fabrications quality and velocity issue
Work on longer term engineering changes to improve quality and velocity

Interaction with team:
Teamwork with Manufacturing Engineers to resolve issues.
Fast paced.

Education & Experience Required:

Bachelor's degree in engineering required but open to Associate's Degree with 10+ years of experience if the candidate is the right one.

5-7 years' experience required.
(Required)
CAD modeling (PTC Creo preferred).
FEA (Creo Simulate preferred).
Cost modeling experience.
Design for manufacturing experience.
APQP experience.
Soft Skills
(Required)
Demonstrated ability to work well in collaborative environment and to communicate effectively in cross functional teams
Experience collaborating with suppliers.
Team player and detail oriented.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawing, schematics and computer-generated reports.
