    Description
    Our large manufacturing client located in Decatur, Illinois, is looking for a Mechanical Engineer, to add to their team

    Position's Contributions to Work Group:
    First responder for Large Mining Truck and Large Wheel Loader manufacturing issues.
    Engineering changes for manufacturing issues and current product field issues.


    Typical task breakdown:
    Support the manufacturing facility to rapidly resolve light fabrications quality and velocity issueWork on longer term engineering changes to improve quality and velocity

    Interaction with team:
    Teamwork with Manufacturing Engineers to resolve issues. Fast paced.


    Education & Experience Required:

    Bachelor's degree in engineering required but open to Associate's Degree with 10+ years of experience if the candidate is the right one.

    5-7 years' experience required.
    Technical Skills (Required)CAD modeling (PTC Creo preferred).FEA (Creo Simulate preferred).Cost modeling experience.
    Design for manufacturing experience.
    APQP experience.

    Soft Skills(Required)Demonstrated ability to work well in collaborative environment and to communicate effectively in cross functional teamsExperience collaborating with suppliers.

    Team player and detail oriented.
    Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawing, schematics and computer-generated reports.
    Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States.
