Description
Duties:
- You will plan and design overall appearance of exhibits (permanent, temporary and offsite) up to the stage of production.
- You will produce a variety of visual materials for public outreach programs, museum educational curricula, and for the marketing/image enhancement programs.
- You will produce a full range of visual materials necessary to prepare finished exhibits in accordance with established museum design and production policies, as assigned and directed.
- You will select visual materials such as photographs, illustrations, models, artifacts, to be used in the communication of information.
- You will specify the size, style of type, color schemes, textures and shapes for banners, titles, and captions used in specialized history museums.
- You will determine strategies for mediums, formats, and types of visual products to satisfy specific interest of variety of audiences.

Education:
In lieu of specialized experience, you may qualify with the following education or combination of both education and experience:
Master's or equivalent graduate degree
OR
2 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree
OR
LL.B. or J.D., if related
Additional information:
This position is covered by the Department of Defense Priority Placement Program.
This position is eligible for part time, substantial or ad-hoc telework at the discretion of management
