    Job Title: Administrative Coordinator I at the Office of the Registrar, Texas A&M University

    Who We Are: The Office of the Registrar at Texas A&M University is looking for an enthusiastic Administrative Coordinator I to manage the university's course inventory and report it to the Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board. This role demands someone who excels in a fast-paced environment, stays composed under pressure, and easily adapts to change.


    What You Need to Know:


    • $45,000 salary
    • Cover letter and resume highly recommended
    • Must be punctual, reliable, able to work independently, occasional weekends and evenings may be required

    Qualifications:


    Required Education and Experience:

    • Bachelor's degree or equivalent
    • Two years of office administration experience

    Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

    • Proficiency in MS Office applications
    • Strong communication, organization, and interpersonal skills
    • Attention to detail and ability to multitask
    • Experience with office protocols and procedures

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Experience in higher education settings
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Adobe Acrobat
    • Familiarity with student information systems and academic policies
    • Knowledge of FERPA and content management systems

    Essential Duties/Tasks:


    Course Inventory:

    • Transfer approved course data to student information system
    • Prepare and submit course inventory reports
    • Resolve discrepancies and run ad-hoc reports

    Course Tracking:

    • Maintain approved course listings
    • Identify and report course changes to regulatory bodies
    • Track course format changes and updates

    Curricular Approval Request System:

    • Develop reports for committees
    • Maintain user roles for workflow
    • Stay updated on CourseLeaf software

    Course Proposal Review:

    • Review course proposals for accuracy
    • Interpret rules and regulations affecting courses

    Catalog:

    • Assist in catalog production
    • Review and approve catalog pages
    • Support other catalog tasks as needed

    General Office Administrative:

    • Answer phones, respond to inquiries
    • Monitor emails, maintain confidentiality
    • Document procedures, provide training
    • Recommend office procedure enhancements
    • Assist with communication proofreading
