- Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Two years of experience in office administration or project management
- Working knowledge of spreadsheet, presentation and word processing software programs
- Interpersonal and communication skills and ability to plan and organize effectively
- Three years of experience in an office environment or in project management
- Experience at an institution of higher education working with members of social and service fraternities and sororities
- Knowledge of Texas A&M University student organization activities, programming, policies and procedures
- Excellent Microsoft Excel and word processing skills
- Microsoft Office Specialist (MOS), and Certified Administrative Professional (CAP) or Organizational Management (OM) Specialty Certificate
- Administrative Support - Assist with special projects for Associate and Assistant Directors. Coordinate travel arrangements and prepare itineraries. Plan and coordinate meetings, seminars, and other special events. Make recommendations for process improvements, administrative changes, or new initiatives. Analyze programs, projects, or initiatives to compile information and create reports. Maintain files, confidential information, and record retention according to university guidelines.
- Financial Support - Manage and review expenditures and deposits for fiscal accounts using a spreadsheet process. Reconcile fiscal accounts monthly with supervisor and provide monthly financial reports to the staff. Work closely with the Department of Student Activities business service office to ensure accurate financial management. Prepare annual financial reports for supervisor and other professional staff members. Review all standing contracts to ensure accuracy in billing. Coordinate the Greek Enhancement Dues billing and refund processes.
- Program Support - Develop accurate academic reports for the fraternity and sorority community each semester. Ensure accurate member and leader rosters and contact information for over 55 organizations. Coordinates the Greek Finance Allocation Board program.
- Communications and Customer Service - Handle complex communications both orally and in writing. Maintain the office voicemail and general email account. Manage marketing materials for various constituent groups (students, staff, faculty, community partners). This includes social media accounts and the office website. Requires a high level of professionalism, customer service, efficiency, and confidentiality.
- Supervision - Supervises, trains, and evaluates the student assistants. Assigns tasks and evaluates job progress. Participates on university, division, and/or department committees and task forces. Performs other duties as assigned.

We are looking for an Administrative Coordinator I to join the Fraternity and Sorority Life (FSL) team within the Department of Student Activities. This position coordinates and supports the financial management of the office and advised organizations, provides logistical and administrative support for events, meetings, and other special function (including on-site support), and assists in maintaining the website and social media platforms.
