    Mount Indie is looking for a Cloud Security Engineer/Vulnerability Management Engineer responsible for setting up and maintaining a system or specific components of a system (e.g. for example, installing, configuring, and updating hardware and software; establishing and managing user accounts; overseeing or conducting backup and recovery tasks; implementing operational and technical security controls; and adhering to organizational security policies and procedures). This role will perform assessments of systems and networks within the network environment or enclave and identify where those systems/networks deviate from acceptable configurations, enclave policy, or local policy. You will also measure the effectiveness of defense-in-depth architecture against known vulnerabilities.

    Qualifications:

    • 3-5 years of relevant security/vulnerability experience
    • Experienced with DOD cybersecurity/VM development, planning, and assessment, including these systems/tools isrequired:
    • In-depth experience with ACAS
    • In-depth experience with ESS (Trellix)
    • In-depth knowledge of the UNIX and Windows OS (Windows Workstation and Windows server)
    • Vulnerability remediation (Tanium or equivalent)
    • Working knowledge of OS hardening/compliance/DISA STIGs
    • Relevant experience of the above in a Cloud environment is required, Oracle Cloud Infrastructure experience is desired
    • DOD TS security clearance required
    • Active Security+ (or equivalent/higher) and relevant compute environment certificates

    Desired Skill/Experience:

    • DevSecOps experience is highly desired
    • Containers
    • Container orchestration
    • MECM, StackRox, and Splunk experience is a plus
    • Oracle Cloud Infrastructure experience is desired
