    Job DescriptionOverviewThe Lead/Staff Engineer is a critical role within our organization, responsible for overseeing the technical direction, engineering best practices, and mentorship of the engineering team. This role is essential for ensuring the successful development and delivery of high-quality, scalable, and reliable software solutions.Key responsibilities
    • Lead and mentor a team of engineers, providing technical guidance, and fostering a collaborative and innovative environment.
    • Define, plan, and execute the technical roadmap for the engineering team, aligning with business goals and objectives.
    • Architect, design, and implement complex software systems and solutions, ensuring scalability, security, and maintainability.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive the development and delivery of high-impact projects and products.
    • Conduct code reviews, set coding standards, and ensure adherence to best practices and quality guidelines.
    • Identify technical challenges and provide strategic solutions to address them, leveraging industry best practices and emerging technologies.
    • Drive innovation and continuous improvement within the engineering team, staying abreast of technological advancements and industry trends.
    • Participate in hiring, onboarding, and training activities to build and develop a high-performing engineering team.
    • Manage technical debt, prioritize refactoring efforts, and ensure system robustness and stability.
    • Collaborate with product management and other stakeholders to define technical requirements and translate them into scalable and efficient solutions.
    Required qualifications
    • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
    • Proven experience in a leadership role within a software engineering team, demonstrating the ability to guide and develop a high-performing team.
    • Expertise in software design and architecture, with a deep understanding of scalable and distributed systems.
    • Demonstrated proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, C++, or similar, with a focus on building high-performance, reliable software.
    • Experience with cloud platforms and technologies, such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
    • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to navigate complex technical challenges with innovative and pragmatic solutions.
    • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities, with the capacity to interact effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
    • Proven track record of delivering high-quality software solutions within defined timelines and project scopes.
    • Knowledge of agile methodologies and practices, with experience in applying agile principles to software development processes.
    • A passion for continuous learning and professional development, with a keen interest in emerging technologies and industry best practices.
