    Department Profile:
    The WM and U.S. Banks Financial Crimes Risk Team is embedded within the Firm's business line.

    It is responsible for identifying, assessing, and escalating potential money laundering and reputational risk issues associated with higher risk client types.

    The WM and U.S.

    Banks Financial Crimes Risk Team is considered the first line of defense and supports the onboarding, enhanced due diligence, and negative news processes for Morgan Stanley.


    Primary Responsibilities:
    The Workforce Forecasting/Management AVP will manage capacity forecasting and supporting processes.

    The Workforce Forecasting/Management A VP will:
    Support production of accurate and timely resource forecastingExecute routine updates and strategic enhancement to the existing forecasting toolContribute to a robust forecasting governance frameworkMaintain documentation related to the forecasting tool, subsequent changes, and similarParticipate in related capacity planning discussions (e.g., those to update input/tool assumptions)

    Monitor forecasting outputs, identify thematic concerns, and escalate as appropriateDevelop and present related management reportingCoordinate and execute related control executionLiaise with other functions to ensure the forecasting tool is reactive to broader changes/initiativesCollaborate with internal stakeholders including Business Leaders, Second Line, Technology, and Internal AuditRequired Experience: 5+ years of experience in capacity planning and/or project managementHave a bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or another related fieldExperience in resource forecasting or similarAbility to: Take initiative, analyze, summarize, and communicate effectivelyThrive in fast-paced environment, managing multiple responsibilities and adapting to changing prioritiesDistill complex ideas and concepts into actionable itemsWork in a matrixed organization; leveraging resources across the organization to complete deliverablesConduct meaningful root cause and trend analysisHandle highly confidential information professionally and with appropriate discretion

    Additional Skills Desired:
    Graduate degree is a plusGood knowledge of MS Office (Microsoft Excel/PowerPoint/Word/Access)

    However, base pay if hired will be determined on an individualized basis and is only part of the total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, incentive compensation, discretionary bonuses, other short and long-term incentive packages, and other Morgan Stanley sponsored benefit programs.
