    Manages and leads a team of manufacturing operations managers, overseeing production in manufacturing facilities to deliver customer commits at the required volume, time, and cost.

    Plans and directs process improvements, ideally through automation, increasing production yield and supporting quality while minimizing costs. Plans factory capacity to maximize capabilities to meet customer requirements and meet production goals. Establishes and ensures adherence to operating policies and procedures for production facilities at senior levels. Participates in the tasks of launching new factory and scale expansions.

    Develops and monitors reports and systems to manager utilization, output, commit goal, stockers capacity, and other KPIs and convenes weekly review meetings to discuss targets and achievements with relevant stakeholders.

    Provides leadership and direction during nonstandard factory operations and unplanned downtimes.

    Owns responsibility for staffing and hiring, ensures certification goals by modules are met, and oversees trainings for certifications across modules and shifts.

    Develops long-term strategies for manufacturing operations capabilities to support future requirements.

    Responsible for enabling teams to execute through clear goal setting, facilitating work, maintaining accountability, applying differentiated performance management, and driving team results.

    Drives results by inspiring people, role modeling Intel values, developing the capabilities of others, and ensuring a productive work environment.


    Manufacturing Manager in the Oregon Wafer Level Assembly organization will be located at the Intel's Ronler Acres campus and will be responsible for managing both Shift 6 (backend nights) and Shift 7 (backend days) on a split shift schedule.

    This new assembly process is an integral part of the Foveros technology.

    You will be responsible for managing the factory output on a daily tactical basis as well as managing the Operations Managers.


    Responsibilities may include but not be limited to:

    Lead a team of 8 to 10 Operations Managers and be the second level manager for all the Manufacturing Technicians and Operators on Shift 6 (backend nights) and Shift 7 (backend days) while on a split shift schedule.

    Will be accountable for the performance of the 2 Compressed Work Week module teams, as measured against factory safety, quality, output, people, and cost goals.

    Responsible for the hiring, training, mentoring, coaching, and performance management of the Manufacturing Technicians and Operators.

    Establish a strong working relationship with the other staff level managers and the engineering group leaders to drive operational expertise and excellence across all modules/shifts of the organization.

    Coaching the OWLA Operation Managers to support emergency response team leaders on each shift.
    Establish and ensure operating policies and procedures are followed. Set priorities for the 2 shift teams, ensure an inclusive work environment, develop employees, and manage performance.
    Ensure adequate personnel and material levels to support production schedules.

    Coordinate multiple functions within the manufacturing facility, establishing strategic plans to ensure production schedules are met within established quality and cost objectives.

    Responsible for overall safety of personnel, company assets, and the surrounding environment.

    Manage the achievement of area output goals while exercising good judgment on a variety of problem situations and sustaining the value and priorities of safety and quality.

    You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position.


    Minimum qualifications:
    Bachelors or Masters degree in a technical engineering discipline.
    Experience in a manufacturing technical field
    1 to 3 years of supervisory or management experience of manufacturing technicians or operators.
