The role
Wireless Logic is on the lookout for a skilled, driven, forward thinking Analytics Business Partner to step into our newly-created Analytics Business Partner position working globally across the group.
You will be joining a Data Team at a high growth technology IoT connectivity provider who are driving and shaping a data vision and strategy across the group.
With exciting periods of growth and acquisitions, there is a requirement to collate and consolidate data throughout the group into a centralised location to provide varied levels of insights and analysis to drive value and efficiencies.
Reporting into the Head of Data, you will drive the group towards a data rich and data hungry business by capitalising on the strong foundations the data team has built and unlock data as a super power so that our teams can build competitive edge and make informed decisions.
Responsibilities include:
Day to day you will consult, advise and co-ordinate on the enablement of better use of data and analytics across the group including through guidance and participation in projects and change initiatives.
You will support in creating opportunities to improve use of data and analytics looking beyond current practices and embracing new ideas and opportunities to "explore the art of the possible".
Synthesize data across multiple sources and tools into a clear and concise story that drives actionable insights.Support business leaders across the group to embed better use of data in their business strategies.
Inspire and persuade people across the group, at all levels of seniority, as to how data and analytics could help them achieve their outcomes.
Elicit other people's data aspirations and needs and articulate these in terms that they recognise.Overcome barriers to delivery in order to support the business area you partner with, using creative problem-solving skills.
Skills required:
Previous experience in a hands-on analytical role within an industry setting.
Experience with and appreciation for end-to-end Data & Analytics lifecycle.
A vision for how data and analytics could help people and teams achieve their outcomes.
Experience translating data and analytics into business opportunities.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong storytelling and presentation skills.
A keen eye for the detail and excellent accuracy of work.
Self-motivated, enthusiastic, ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines.
Effective organisation and time management skills.
