PARK INTERPRETIVE SPECIALIST (SEASONAL) – SAN DIEGO COAST DISTRICT
Priority consideration will be given to any person receiving State public assistance under the CalWORKS program. Applicants who receive State public assistance need to identify their status as a CalWORKS recipient in the comments area on the application. Applicants must submit a verification of their CalWORKS eligibility status, which may include the most recent Notice of Action showing TANF eligibility or a copy of your last aid check stub. The Park Interpretive Specialist for North Sector Campgrounds reporting location is S. Carlsbad State Beach and San Elijo State Beach at 4477 Pacific Highway, San Diego, CA
Under the supervision of the Interpreter III, the Park Interpretive Specialist (PIS) for North Sector Campgrounds will provide in-person marine ecology-focused educational programs to campers and day-use park visitors including campfire programs, Jr. Rangers, and Summer Learning Programs. The PIS will work with the State Park Interpreter I's to provide online K-12 Programs (PORTS), webinars, and social media content. Must be able to work, holidays, weekends, evenings and special events.

This position may work up to 1500 hours per year/in a 12 consecutive month period.
