    Description
    Job Responsibilities:

    Partnering:
    • Work proactively with HR, Senior Leadership team, SHE (Safety/Health/Environmental) team, and Operations team to identify site training needs to ensure compliance with regulatory and site guidelines.
    • Identify, plan and develop training programs of various methods such as demonstrations, on-the-job training, classroom style training, coaching, and more, while utilizing the technology provided.
    • Respond to requests from departments and coordinate training programs or materials in specific areas.
    • Assist in mapping out development plans for teams and individuals.
    • Assist in developing training programs, manuals/materials, schedules and goals for required training of all new and existing employees.
    • Collaborate with internal stakeholders and subject matter experts regarding instructional design.
    Functional:
    • Track on-going training initiatives, prepares reports on progress and suggest solutions for any issues with progress.
    • Develop metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of training efforts via evaluations, surveys and other methods; recommends and implements process/training improvements.
    • Create, maintain, and audit compliant training records and files. Ensure site adherence to training Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and annual training requirements, including new procedure training and re-certification activities.
    • Create and keep current all training manuals, documents, multimedia aids, and materials to supplement training goals.
    • Develop and initiate tangible training assessments, reporting methods of KPIs, and program completion/ compliance.
    • Prepare reports and KPIs (Key Performance Indicators) of training program.
    • Develop an annual training plan.
    • Administer training technology system and collaborate with other system administrators.
    • Train and coach managers, supervisors and others involved in employee development efforts.
    • Lead the Safety Culture Training Team.
    • Support external 3rd party / customer audits with regards to training requirements.
    • Organize train-the-trainer sessions for internal subject matter experts.
    • Keep the knowledge base current according to industry changes in compliance with regulations.
    • Maintain familiarity with operations and product usage to help improve processes and identify training needs.
    • Post training programs within the facility.
    • Coordinate or provide facility orientation for contractors.

    Education Requirements:
    • A high school diplomarequired, plus five years of demonstrated on-site training experience.
    Skills and Abilities:
    • Demonstrated skill in delivering training and facilitating learning experiences, both virtually and in-person.
    • Must be able to work with all personnel within the facility and able to work with diverse stakeholders at all levels to produce results.
    • Understands the importance of integrity, trust and confidentiality, as well as accountability in the workplace.
    • Exceptional relationship management skills with multiple stakeholders, business customers/partners, always presenting professional, flexible, diplomatic demeanor while working with various styles and perspectives.
    • Strong verbal and written communication abilities as well as strong organizational and time management skills
    • Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint).
    • Flex schedule/hours when necessary to support on-site training events.
    • Self-motivated and enthusiastic with strong interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to operate media equipment such as projectors and personal computers.
