    Description


    Job DescriptionRole SummaryManages Supply Chain Management coordination throughout various departments from order to buying to shipment to billing and customer service for the Communication & Connectivity/Surveillance & Security business areas.


    Responsibilities Procure Materials and Services:
    Identify and order the proper quantity for operational needs, negotiate pricing, vendor selection, and secure favorable terms


    Strategic Sourcing:
    Develop sourcing strategies using data and data analysis


    Financial Analysis:
    Align functional activities and deliverables with company financial goals taking ownership of functional financial KPIs


    Supply Market Knowledge:
    Analyze complex supply markets, global trends, and innovation developments to identify commercial opportunities and business risks


    Negotiation:
    Plan and execute negotiation strategies using best practice principles


    Relationship Management:
    Build effective networks with internal and external business partners. Leverage relationships to identify best practices and innovation opportunities.


    Functional Strategy:
    Develop functional strategy using Strategic Gap Closure tools and implement/communicate them


    Cross-Function Integration and Networking:
    Understand business needs and drive alignment across multiple functions by leveraging interpersonal skills and networks


    Talent Development:
    Elevate levels of talent within the function by identifying skill needs as well as assessing individuals' skills inventory to identify training or tools required for continuous improvement


    Performance Management:

    Develop KPIs and use them to set goals that elevate functional performance to improve cost savings, vendor performance, etc.

    Motivate team members to deliver against tough but achievable goals.


    Customer Service:
    Address issues identified by operations or corporate groups with suppliers. Ensure timely and effective communications with stakeholders.


    Process and Tools Utilization:
    Manage and improve SCM processes as directed by Director Supply Chain Management e

    g RentalMan, Oracle Contract Management:
    Own contracts, negotiate them, assess performance, and have a working knowledge of basic contract law


    Troubleshooting:
    Address Supply Chain and Enterprise Asset Management issues with proper stakeholders to satisfactory resolution


    Planning:
    Develop work plans for Communication & Connectivity/Surveillance & Security that drives improved functional performance. Core Skills Communication Strategic Thinking Negotiation Innovation Oral and Written Communication Numerate and Detail Orientated Highly Organized, Adaptable, Deadline Driven, Multi-tasker Influence, Teamwork, and Networking Talent Development (teaching and coaching)


    Supervisory and Performance Management Problem Solving and Continuous Improvement Process ImprovementExperience Proficient in Microsoft Office and working knowledge of ERP systems e.g.

    Oracle Telecon, IoT, and Electronic Equipment Sourcing Manufacturing, Fabrication, and Engineering Design Supply Chain Management experience (at least 5 yrs)Education and Certification Requirements:

    Bachelors' Degree and/or equivalent experience required in Supply Chain Management or a related field. ISM Certification desired but not required
