    We are currently seeking a

    Supply Chain Manager

    to join our team in

    east Houston. This role will take primary responsibility for the successful purchasing and planning of materials and services as well as

    overseeing buyers, production schedulers, CAD drafters, and inventory teams .
    Responsibilities
    Oversees, supervises, and manages purchasing, inventory, and production planning operations
    Collaborates with other departments and stakeholders to identify and maintain resources needed to establish and provide an effective supply chain
    Develops policies to increase efficiency throughout the supply chain while ensuring quality and safety; implements subsequent changes to processes
    Handles the creation and execution of master schedule of material and production activities to ensure on-time delivery to customers
    Leads purchasing, production planning, CAD/estimating, and inventory teams
    Coordinates material forecasts with suppliers to ensure supplier stock is efficient for demand
    Develops and implements tailor-made strategies in procurement and supply chain management
    Negotiates prices for raw material and delivery with suppliers, vendors, and/or shipping companies
    Monitors the performance of suppliers, assessing their ability to meet quality and delivery requirements; identifies and qualifies new suppliers in collaboration with other departments
    Performs other related duties as needed



    Requirements:
    5+ years of experience in supply chain management within distribution and/or manufacturing environments
    Strong knowledge of purchasing and planning processes, continuous improvement practices, and quality control methodologies
    Excellent leadership and people management skills with the ability to motivate and inspire teams
    Analytical mindset and problem-solving abilities to identify operational bottlenecks and implement effective solutions
    Experience with ERP systems & concepts
    Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, with emphasis on Microsoft Excel
    Associate degree in supply chain management, business management, engineering, or a related field. A bachelor's degree is preferred
    Lean Six Sigma Certifications are a plus
    Physical

    Requirements:
    Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
    Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds at times.
    Ability to travel throughout production facilities as required.
