Position Overview: Arlo is looking for an Information Management Specialist to assist the Federal Housing Finance Agency (FHFA) Office of the Chief Operating Officer (OCOO) Front Office (FO) and Business Operations Branch (BOB) with an internal network review and update.

Work Location: Constitution Center, 400 7th Street, SW, Washington, DC 20219

Job Responsibilities and/or Success Factors:

Survey FHFA's internal intranet website to identify sources of OCOO services and available information for employees.
Collate, catalog, and analyze information and services.
Collaborate with experts to assess the need for updating, retaining, or removing information within FHFA's guidelines.
Categorize information according to defined parameters using best user experience practices.
Make recommendations on the optimal way to publish information for easy end-user access and efficient service delivery.
Work alongside the website team to ensure information updates are done effectively.
Ensure 508 compliance of all digital interfaces and platforms with the help of IT specialists and accessibility experts.
Create a layout, wireframe, and content proposal for a new OCOO intranet site in Microsoft SharePoint.
Devise a project plan for implementing the new intranet section in collaboration with the OCOO communications team.
Develop the OCOO Gateway in Microsoft SharePoint.
Provide training on content management for the SharePoint site.
Address user concerns, collaborate with team members, and stay informed on SharePoint standards and technologies.

Education and Minimum Qualifications:

Must be a US Citizen eligible for and able to maintain a federal Public Trust.
Bachelor's degree in management studies or related field required.
An associate degree with 4 additional relevant years of experience can substitute for a Bachelor's degree.
Subject matter expertise on program and/or project.
Works with moderate supervision and latitude for independent judgment.
Proficiency in English communication, both oral and written.

A high preference for knowledge of SharePoint architecture and administration (not mandatory).
