    Overview: We are seeking a Front Desk/Call Center Associate that is detailed oriented and customer focused to join our dynamic ophthalmology practice. As a valued member of our practice, you will play a vital role in ensuring exceptional patient care and smooth clinic operations. Some travel between our Monmouth County locations may be required. Responsibilities:
    • Extend a warm greeting to patients, ensuring their experience is positive and comfortable.
    • Handle incoming calls with professionalism, taking messages, and providing accurate information as needed.
    • Efficiently manage patient check-ins and check-outs, ensuring a seamless process from start to finish.
    • Coordinate appointment scheduling and confirmations, maintaining accuracy and timeliness.
    • Verify insurance eligibility and update patient information.
    • Collect co-pays and patient payments with precision and courtesy.
    • Utilize our Electronic Health Record (EHR) system effectively to maintain accurate patient records.
    • Obtain referrals and prior authorizations, ensuring timely access to care.
    • Manage confirmation calls and patient recalls supporting continuity of care.

    Qualifications:
    • Strong interpersonal skills with a friendly and professional demeanor.
    • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
    • Proficiency in using computer systems and electronic health records.
    • Prior experience in a medical office or customer service role preferred.
    • Ability to adapt and thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude.
    • Knowledge of medical terminology, insurance processes, and scheduling procedures is a plus
    • Bilingual Preferred

    Education Requirement: Work Schedule: Flexibility is key, with occasional availability required on weekends and evenings.
