Overview:

Lutron has an immediate opening for an experienced Accounting Manager out of our Center Valley, PA location. Under the direction of the Corporate Controller, and in close collaboration with the accounting management team, you will lead and evolve our international manufacturing accounting teams located in Costa Rica, Mexico and China. In this role, you will be accountable for ensuring the execution of the accounting strategy within each region, working closely with your leaders, located in each country, to ensure their plans align to corporate goals.

To be successful, you will need to be effective at managing and motivating people who are already established and demonstrating success in their work. To add value, you will interact with your regional teams regularly, informing them on what is happening within corporate accounting and understanding their local needs and challenges. Your impact will be to drive change across a complex organization through the development and execution of strategic plans and improvement projects all made in collaboration with regional and corporate leaders.

Responsibilities:

Lead high performing teams
Build and maintain relationships across the organization
Attract, hire, and develop top talent
Develop strategic plans and drive improvement projects
Be responsible for the general ledger for accounting across multiple legal entities
Complete financial analysis (Balance Sheet, Profit and Loss, Budget, Estimates, Fixed Assets, Inventories)
Balance account reconciliations
Plan and manage the efficient conduct of financial audits
Ensure completion Responsible for the monthly, quarterly, and year-end close process for these entities
Plan and manage statutory activities and financial compliance across these jurisdictions
Take initiative to problem solve and affect change when needed
Travel to Lutron manufacturing facilities as needed for activities like training, physical inventories, and immersion in daily operations to enhance professional development

Qualifications:

BS degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics, or a Master's degree in Accounting
Minimum, cumulative GPA of 3.00 for all related degrees earned
Min of 5 years of experience in a leadership position
Proficient in Microsoft Office packages
Having international experience a plus (e.g. Procomer in Costa Rica, SAT in Mexico, STA in China)
Experience in customs compliance a plus
