    Description

    Job Title: Clinical Lab Technologist

    Location: New York, NY 10002

    Payrate: $65/hr

    Shift: 10a.m-6p.m. M-F

    Contract Duration: 13 Weeks

    Job Duties / Responsibilities:


    • Collecting, labeling, and processing specimens with utmost attention to detail and adherence to strict protocols to ensure accuracy and reliability of test results.


    • Performing a wide range of laboratory tests, including hematological, chemical, microbiological, immunological, and molecular diagnostic assays, using automated analyzers and manual techniques.


    • Conducting quality control procedures to maintain accuracy and precision of test results, troubleshooting equipment malfunctions, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and laboratory policies.


    • Analyzing test results and interpreting findings within the context of patient medical history, providing accurate and timely information to healthcare professionals to aid in diagnosis and treatment decisions.


    • Performing routine maintenance, calibration, and troubleshooting of laboratory equipment and instruments to ensure optimal performance and reliability.


    • Maintaining detailed records of all tests performed, including patient information, test results, and laboratory procedures, and preparing comprehensive reports for healthcare providers and medical records.


    • Collaborating with other healthcare professionals, including physicians, nurses, and laboratory staff, to ensure seamless coordination of patient care and effective communication of test results and findings.

    Job Requirements:


    • 1 year Clinical Laboratory Technologist experience.

    Certification Required:


    • Valid license to practice as a Clinical Laboratory Technologist

    Certificates Preferred:


    • BLS preferred.
