- Determine benefits and collects prepayments from patients.
- Work with insurance companies to verify patient eligibility, coinsurance and deductible information.
- Discuss payment expectations and collect prepayments prior to appointments.
- Set up payment plans with patients unable to pay bills in full at time of service.
- Prepare self-pay quotes in coordination with supervisor.
- Interview patients to obtain accurate and complete demographic information.
- Work with divisions to obtain and provide requested information.
- Answers billing calls.
- Perform all other duties as assigned.
- No nights, weekends or holidays
