Description

ICI Services is looking for motivated individuals who want to join our team in Port Hueneme, CA.

We are a mid-sized defense contractor providing Engineering & Integration, Systems Acquisition, Information Warfare and In-Service Sustainment to government clients in 14 states and the District of Columbia.

We need a Mechanical Engineer/Machinery Designer ready to join a fast-paced and exciting work environment.

Security Clearance:

Applicant must hold an active Department of Defense (DoD) SECRET personnel security clearance.

Responsibilities:

Perform a variety of engineering assignments in planning and overseeing research, development, design, manufacture, test, installation, operation, and maintenance of diverse electronic/ mechanical equipment and systems.
Perform structural analysis and research and analyze current and future design limitations.
Lead design, analysis or review teams on complex engineering assignments.

Experience Requirements:

A minimum of five years' experience in performing detailed mechanical design, with a preference toward shipboard deck machinery, or similar is highly desired.

Educational Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in engineering.
15 years' experience performing mechanical engineering duties may substitute for a bachelor degree.
