Do you...
- have the task of developing new and innovative concepts for occupant retention in the functional chain of front and rear crashes, ensuring compliance with all requirements for passive safety in terms of legal and consumer protection tests, as well as internal BMW requirements
- work closely with concept engineers and designers from the releasing KIFA and EG concept departments, taking on the role of architect for occupant retention issues in overall vehicle crashes (passive safety)
- utilize both experimental and virtual design methods
- are responsible for developing technically and economically viable concepts and solutions, as well as their design and implementation in the overall vehicle (including validation) to meet the given PREP goals and legal requirements in close cooperation with internal and external process partners

Do you...
- have a degree in mechanical engineering, automotive engineering, industrial engineering, mathematics, physics, or a comparable technical or scientific education
- have several years of professional experience in the automotive industry, including relevant experience in design and vehicle safety
- ideally have experience in passive safety
- have a solid understanding of analyzing complex relationships, preferably from testing and simulation
