Description

At the earliest possible date, we are looking for you as a Traffic Planning Specialist (m/f/d) for NVO Nahverkehr Ostwestfalen at our locations in Lennestadt or Meschede.
Your tasks:

Conceptual development and operational/economic optimization of the operating planning for existing traffic and competitive procedures, including location and rotation optimization
Examination and creation of schedules for our regular services, as well as subcontractor deployment planning in the system
Traffic planning for all competitive procedures in the traffic area
Development and evaluation of alternative models for cost reduction and/or demand increase
Analysis of market potentials, as well as traffic and mobility data
Conducting traffic calculation models and demand, analysis, and forecasting methods to support conceptual planning in collaboration with the responsible market management
Project-specific design of new traffic and innovative traffic concepts in coordination with market management, as well as contracting authorities and approval authorities
Participation in the creation of offers within the scope of tenders, including examination of the applicability of innovative offer elements, as well as support in market launch, evaluation, and further development of products

Your profile:

Completed degree in geography or traffic engineering or comparable practical experience in the field
Geographic knowledge of the responsible traffic area desirable or to be
