Description
Position Summary:
The successful candidate will have a strong track record of using quantitative and qualitative data to develop and execute people strategies in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Complementing these technical skills, we are looking for someone with top-notch interpersonal skills and a strong sense of integrity that will foster trusted, professional relationships.
Job Responsibilities:
Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:
Partner with senior leaders to identify, develop and implement P&C initiatives that align with business strategy.
Provide strategic guidance to the leadership team on people-related issues, including talent management, workforce strategies, organization design, and reward and recognition.
Recommends business practice/work process improvements to identify opportunities for leveraging human capital; ensures all P&C initiatives have ROI that adds to organizational value.
Maintains knowledge of the external environment and other related information on peer and comparison groups to effectively diagnose and implement strategies to help drive business decisions.
Develop and implement programs and initiatives that support employee attraction, engagement, retention, and performance enablement.Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices to ensure the company's people and culture strategy remains competitive.
Strategic Insights & Innovation:
Gather and analyze internal and external data, evidence-based research, benchmarks, and business metrics to inform P&C strategy and decision-making.
Share insights with leaders and recommend innovative solutions based on our values, culture, strategic direction, and resources.
Develop and implement metrics to measure the effectiveness of P&C initiatives and programs.
Diagnose root causes of work environment issues, disruptive team dynamics, and ineffective organizational setups, initiates interventions, and shape solutions in collaboration with leadership.
Continuously improve HR processes and systems to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements related to HR policies and practices.
Qualifications & Experience:
Bachelor's degree and relevant industry experience, medical device or pharma/biotech preferred.
Experience in both P&C and in-line business roles, with a minimum of 5+ years of experience in P&C in a fast-growth/fast-paced environment
Strong business acumen and ability to understand and analyze financial and operational data.
Data literacy:
Demonstrated ability to leverage data to generate insights as a foundation for diagnosis, recommendations, and decisions.
Digital proficiency:
Demonstrated passion and ability to leverage digital tools for collaboration, efficiency, and effectiveness.
Excellent communication, collaboration, and leadership skills are required.
Strong project management skills and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Organization development and change management experience preferred.
Familiarity with leading HRIS (ADP, Workday, etc.)
