- Conduct daily assessments to ensure compliance with regulations.
- Supervise staff and communicate any issues to the Program Director.
- Maintain files to comply with regulations.
- Manage attendance records and other necessary information.
- Coordinate supply orders with the Program Director.
- Participate in required trainings.
- Provide input on program planning and development.
- Assist students with virtual learning assignments.
- Implement safety protocols related to COVID and branch operations.
- Must be minimum 21 years old.
- Possess credentials that meet requirements.
- Prior experience working with school-age children.
- Completion of biennial CPR/First Aid training.
- Strong communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and internet technology platforms.
- Pass a Fingerprint check before working.
- Pass pre-employment background checks.
- Legally eligible to work in the US without sponsorship.

At the Y, we are a group of like-minded individuals dedicated to providing equal opportunities for everyone, especially children, to reach their full potential. Each year, we offer high-quality literacy and STEAM-infused learning for children ages 6 weeks through Pre-K, provide various activities and opportunities for 58,000 youth and teens, serve over 200,000 members with programs and facilities, and engage volunteers and donors to support their communities.
NATURE AND SCOPE:
Reporting to the Afterschool Program Director(s), the Afterschool Site Director will oversee the day-to-day operations of the site, including planning and implementing activities for elementary age children to support their success in school.
