- Reporting directly to the Vice President Commercial, the National Account Manager is responsible for long-term national customer relationships achieving long term growth, profitability, trust, loyalty, innovation, and risk management.Must have a full understanding of National Account requirements, expectations, and needs. Will represent the voice of the customer within the business.
- Develops and implements National Account Plans that include key account opportunities, short and long-term goals, and strategic initiatives.
- Where applicable, signs preferred partnership agreements that drive revenue and share growth in collaboration with the Commercial Teams.
- Owns national accounts and key influencers to secure national and regional business.
- Manages and develops national account relationships with key individuals (C-level) who participate in driving tile decisions.
- Gains an understanding of the national account's business.
- Collaborates with the customer to acquire strategic information about their business.
- Ensures action and responsiveness to the customer by taking responsibility for the exposure the customer has with Emser Tile and facilitates the organization's involvement with national accounts.
- Represent Emser at national IIDA and other professional organizations.
- Develop and deliver training such as presentation skills, territory planning, networking.
- Utilize CRM (Boost) to effectively track customer activities such as, lead to opportunity conversion.
- Updates Emser Management via MDR reports.
- Commits to learning, living, and promoting Emser Tile culture and values.
- Thrives in a busy environment, be highly organized, and goal oriented.

- Knowledge of database and query functions
- Ability to accurately read and respond to non-verbal communication.

- Excellent basic math functions (piece to square foot calculations)
- Excellent communication skills at all organizational levels (written/verbal) and with customers.
- Bachelor's degree
- 5-10 years commercial experience specifying products with A&D firms
- Commercial flooring experience a plus
- Development and training of A&D representatives
- Skilled delivery of CEUs and presentations to large commercial customers
- IIDA or related membership(s)
- Excellent understanding and skill set with CRMs, Microsoft Office
