Position SummaryWe are seeking a skilled and experienced Finance Manager to join our Commercial Finance team.
This position will fulfill a critical function within the broader organization – using primarily operational data, you will provide decision support and analysis to business functional areas.
This position will act with other members of the Commercial Finance team as co-pilots of the business with the functional leaders, helping to brainstorm, model solutions, find opportunities for growth and efficiency.
Responsibilities include but not limited to:
Act as an expert on our P&L, deeply understanding the unit economics of each product and market and utilizing that understanding to help inform and drive improvements.
Partner with the business group to identify areas of growth and optimization with our existing utility partnerships. Lead finance aspects of assigned partner's annual roadmap by defining, executing, and assessing the financial impacts of key initiatives.Manage and oversee financial aspects for all utility partnership contract renewals and renegotiations, providing financial analysis and strategic thought partnership throughout the process.
In conjunction with the Director of Commercial Finance and Senior Director of FP&A, lead the creation and implementation of centralized budgeting, forecasting, and operating models and processes that reflect how we run and think about the business.
Implement standardized processes, cadence, and performance views across the finance organization to help streamline work and provide insight more quickly to the business.

Minimum of 5 to 8 years of progressive experience in a finance role with strategic and/or commercial finance experience preferred.
Strong analytical and financial modeling skills, with the ability to succinctly interpret data for executives and frame business issues in a straightforward manner.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office products (Excel, PowerPoint), with expertise in advanced Microsoft Excel functionalities.Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Outstanding interpersonal and communication/presentation skills, with the ability to partner well with other team members and interface effectively with all levels of management.
Solid organizational and time management skills, with ability to multi-task in a complex and deadline-driven environment.Have a bias for action and an ownership mindset.
Education
Bachelor's Degree in Economics, Business, Finance or related field (required)
Computer Skills Needed to Perform this Job
Proficiency in Microsoft Office products (Excel, PowerPoint), with expertise in advanced Microsoft Excel functionalities.
