    Description
  • Develop a comprehensive Planned Giving marketing, cultivation, and education campaign to launch the College of Medicine's newly established Albert Einstein Legacy Society to all key constituencies;
  • Collaborate with the major gifts team to integrate planned giving goals and objectives in all fundraising activities;
  • Cultivate relationships with attorneys, trust officers, accountants, financial planners and other estate planning professionals regarding gift opportunities for clients and provide material for their use, exchange up-to-date information on current best practices, request help in obtaining referrals and discuss donor interests; and
  • Bachelor's degree required; graduate degree in business, finance or related field and/or JD preferred;
  • Knowledge of estate planning, including wills, trusts and estate and gift tax laws, deferred giving vehicles and tax laws related to charitable giving;
  • Albert Einstein College of Medicine seeks a dynamic and experienced development professional to take its burgeoning planned giving program for our alumni, donors, and friends to its next level of growth and achievement.
  • The Senior Director will report to the Vice President of Development, Einstein, and be accountable to the Assistant Vice President of Development, Montefiore Development, on the cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship of planned gifts for Montefiore.
  • The incumbent will be responsible for planning and implementing a comprehensive Planned Giving outreach/marketing, and education program for all Einstein and Montefiore Medicine constituencies, as well work collaboratively with the frontline, events and alumni teams to identify, cultivate and solicit donors and prospects for deferred gifts through estates, trusts and various other financial vehicles.
