- Graduation from a school of professional nursing.

New Graduate Nurses are part of the UNC Medical Center Residency Program (NRP). This program is a yearlong program supporting transition from academia to practice for new graduate nurses.The program is layered on top of orientation to provide mentored clinical relationships which support development as a professional nurse.

The Hillsborough Hospital is located at 430 Waterstone Drive, Hillsborough, NC.The 18 bed Medical-Surgical Critical Care Unit at the Hillsborough Campus provides critical care, progressive care and acute care services to both medical and surgical admissions (e.g. joint, spine, urology). We are looking for an energetic, patient-centered team member with a positive attitude. This unit fosters an environment that values diversity, team work, open communication while providing exceptional service.
