    Description

    We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Desktop Support technician to join our IT support team 4-6 month Project. We will have 3 positions on our Project team. These roles will be eligible for extension and/or conversion.

    • Duration: 4-6 month contract with possibility of extension or conversion
    • All site locations will be in the DFQ Texas area. Mileage will be paid at IRS $.67 per mile.
    • Hourly Rate: $21/hr
    • Schedule: Monday through Friday, 9am - 5pm
    • Must be able to pass a background check and drug screen
    • Must have reliable transportation

    Hardware and Software Installation:

    • Unboxing, enrolling, delivering, and setting up laptop and desktop computer stations
    • Applying asset tags, scanning items, cable management of PC cables
    • Roll out and enroll devices, including Chromebooks and Microsoft laptops, by established guidelines and timelines.
    • Coordinate with team members to ensure smooth and efficient deployment processes.
    • Troubleshoot and resolve any issues related to device enrollment and deployment.
    • Provide training and support to end-users on device usage and best practices.
    • Maintain accurate records of device inventory and deployment activities.

    Qualifications:

    • Minimum of 1-2+ years of experience in IT support or a related field.
    • Knowledge of healthcare information systems is a plus.
    • Strong understanding of Microsoft Windows and Office applications.
    • Familiarity with ticketing systems and remote support tools.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Relevant certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, or Microsoft Certified Desktop Support Technician (MCDST) are advantageous.
