Pool Manager
The Post Oak Hotel is seeking a Pool Manager to join the only Forbes Five-Star Hotel in Texas. We hire passionate and professional colleagues who genuinely delight our guests through curated and authentic experiences.
The Pool Manager will be responsible for managing the team and the guest experience of the pool and cabana operations.
Responsibilities:
Ensures excellence in guest satisfaction through commitment to a "Do Whatever It Takes Attitude" and a hands-on, lead by example management style.
Execute all personnel functions including but not limited to interviewing, hiring, scheduling, Forbes & AAA training, coaching & counseling, termination, payroll and recruitment.
Plans, organizes, directs and controls the day-to-day activities and operations of the pool and cabana operations.
Create yearly activations throughout the season to drive sales and promote business.
Ensure all inventory deadlines are met according to the hotels schedule.
Monitor and maintain a safe and clean pool area, including enforcement of all safety rules and regulations for the pool's policy and procedures while ensuring that all lifesaving equipment is in proper order and location
Exhibits a courteous, polite, and helpful attitude with all members, guests, and co-workers.
Qualifications:

At least 3+ years' experience at a similar high-volume operation, preferably within a Four or Five Star Hotel, or similar luxury operation
Current CPR license required
Bachelor's Degree preferred
Extensive training and knowledge of lifeguard duties including but not limited to performing CPR, Heimlich Maneuver and basic First Aid in non-emergency situations as required.
Strong interpersonal and conflict resolution skills
Ability to work flexible schedules, including nights, weekends and holidays is required
Stable and progressive work history; Strong work ethic
Physical demands:
Ability to lift 50 pounds on a regular basis and prolonged extended periods of standing
