    Job DescriptionApex Logic is looking for an experienced Government Sales Director who is easy to work with and demonstrates a passion for the job by providing strategic advice, guidance and directives to internal and external stakeholders, in addition to having revenue generation responsibility for new and existing Government agency clients.

    This position will be based within the DC Beltway, Virginia, Maryland, Washington Metropolitan Area.


    Responsibilities:
    Work with executive team to enhance GTM strategy and be responsible for fully realizing that strategy Step in to build and nurture existing accounts and develop deep relationships with new clientsBuild and execute the Government sales strategy, process, and hiring plan as the company growsAttend trade shows, events, and customer roundtables to build relationships and our brand in the fieldWork with operations on the strategies and implementation of CRM, Pipeline Management, and Analytic toolsThis position will align internal resources and partners to sell and support with a focus on growing overall revenue while maintaining a high level of customer satisfactionFollow up with customers to track satisfaction levels and to discover additional revenue opportunitiesManage relationships at the executive level within the accountFulfill wide range of requests for information from prospective customersStay abreast of federal policies which drive the development and usage of analytics across these departments and agenciesMaintain accurate revenue forecastsDevelop a basic understanding of company pricing, licensing procedures and approvals matrixRequirements:10+ years experience of software sales experience3+ years in a sales leadership role7 + years of selling technical solutions to US Federal Government agenciesA proven ability of working with Government Services and a developed professional networkDeep knowledge of government contracts and procurement vehiclesA passion for coaching and mentoring sales professionalsAbility to work with a virtual cross-functional team to create solutionsStrong presentation skills and proposal writing skillsExperience working in or desire to work in an early-stage companySelf motivated and proactive work style, with the ability to work in a fast paced environment in support of our clients during emergency situationsExcellent written and oral communicationsMust be US CitizenMust comply with all "drug free workplace" requirements as mandated by directives issued by the appropriate federal contracting officer and the company, which requires drug testing for use of illegal drugs by employees in sensitive positions

    Minimum Clearance Required:
