    Overview:
    We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Traffic Engineer to join our team in Mentor, OH. The ideal candidate will have 10-15 years of relevant experience and possess a Professional Engineer (P.E.) license. In this role, you will be responsible for traffic signal design, traffic plans, and providing mentorship to a team of 4-5 junior-level engineers, including both Engineer-in-Training (E.I.T.) professionals and one P.E. We are looking for an individual with a proven track record in traffic engineering and a strong proficiency in design tools such as MicroStation Openroads, AutoCAD, and Civil 3D.

    Key Responsibilities:
    • Lead the design and implementation of traffic signal projects, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
    • Develop comprehensive traffic plans to optimize traffic flow and enhance safety.
    • Mentor and guide junior-level engineers, providing support and fostering their professional growth.
    • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality traffic engineering solutions.
    • Utilize design tools, including MicroStation Openroads, AutoCAD, and Civil 3D, to create accurate and efficient traffic designs.
    • Bring extensive experience in traffic engineering to contribute to the success of projects.
    Qualifications:
    • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
    • Professional Engineer (P.E.) license is required.
    • 10-15 years of experience in traffic engineering.
    • Proven expertise in traffic signal design and traffic planning.
    • Proficient in design software, including MicroStation Openroads, AutoCAD, and Civil 3D.
    • Experience with ODoT is preferred (Open to PDoT).
    • PTOE Certification is a plus.
    • Strong leadership and mentoring skills.
    • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
    Flexible work from home options available.

    Compensation: $120, $145,000.00 per year
