    The Impact You'll Have:

    Alliant Engineering has a fantastic opportunity for a Graduate Traffic Engineer to join our newly established, beautiful Tampa office You will have the ability to work with a talented team to conduct traffic signal operations analyses, traffic impact studies, assist with signal timing projects, complete traffic signal design and participate in other transportation related projects.

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or related field
    • 2-4 years of experience in Traffic and Transportation Engineering
    • Excellent analytical and problem-solving capabilities
    • Skilled ability to be organized and adept in managing competing priorities
    • Exceptional technical, written, and oral communication competences
    • Experience with GIS

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Strong familiarity with traffic operations software such as Synchro/SimTraffic, Highway Capacity Manual, and VISSIM
    • Signal Timing and Signal Controller proficiency
    • Traffic signal design experience
    • Roadway signing and pavement marking knowledge
    • IMSA traffic Signal Field Technician II certification
    • Working knowledge of MicroStation and AutoCAD
