    Description

    RegScale is a continuous controls monitoring (CCM) platform that enables GRC outcomes faster and at a lower cost than legacy programs currently deliver. These efficiency gains are achieved through extreme automation powered by CCM engines to bridge security, risk, and compliance activities. Our CCM automation engines and AI tools operate independently but are tightly coupled, eliminating the manual corrosion that grinds current GRC programs to a halt. In addition to strengthening security and reducing costs, customers report seeing a 90% faster path to compliance certifications and a 60% reduction in audit preparation efforts.

    Position:

    Do you love turning technical concepts into disruptive stories? Are you a security expert with risk and compliance domain expertise? If you answer yes to those, we have an opening for a Product Marketing leader in RegScale, an innovative startup disrupting the compliance industry. As a Product Marketing Manager, you'll work closely with our Product and Sales teams to define a new market category. In this role, you'll develop the product marketing strategy for a solution with no match in the market while strategically training the sales team on the best messaging and positioning. This role offers a great blend of strategic planning and tactical execution, all while gaining valuable insights from our sales team.

    Activities:

    · Develop and execute the product marketing strategy of RegScale

    · Own messaging, positioning, market fit, ICP, segmentation, pricing/packaging, and product differentiation

    · Develop content to educate internal and external audiences on product features and benefits

    · Own sales enablement and promotion of product launch - big and small - including product videos, blog posts, email campaigns, and other collateral required to bring a product to market

    · Collaborate with R&D, Sales, CS, SE, and customers to uncover market needs and customer feedback, and understand value-based behaviors to drive product roadmap prioritization

    · Develop content to create demand for products to align with the customer journey

    · Train our Sales team and other stakeholders on how to tell the story of our platform

    · Research relevant topics and write articles as a subject-matter expert, conducting interviews and obtaining quotes as needed

    · Own – together with Product – the roadmap and new offerings/features to grow pipeline and revenue with prospects and customers

    · Assist with developing additional content as needed

    Proven Capabilities:

    · Past experience in a product marketing role in a SaaS organization, ideal candidate will have direct experience in the GRC space, or security/compliance products and knowledge of cybersecurity concepts, scanning tools, and technology platforms

    · Deep knowledge of cyber security and the compliance landscape that helps you identify with customer pain points and understand RegScale's differentiated solutions

    · A storyteller with a portfolio of content that translates technical concepts into simplified, user-centric stories

    · Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to chair sessions and host webinars

    · Works well independently as well as collaboratively in a cross-functional team

    · Strong project management skills with documented examples of delivering simultaneous projects on schedule

    · Strong problem-solving ability and performance/metrics-driven thinking

    · Able to be flexible and agile in responding to evolving business priorities and dealing with ambiguity

    · Detail-oriented with the ability to close the loop on projects and initiatives with the team

    · Flexibility to work extended hours to meet the demands of a fast-growing startup

    Qualifications:

    · Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field or equivalent experience

    · 5+ years of experience in product marketing roles for GRC, compliance, risk, or security products

    · Excellent writer (have sample links ready)

    · Excellent oral communication skills (including in-person, phone, and email)

    · Basic knowledge of SEO content, Google Analytics

    · Experience in organizations selling to both commercial and public sectors is a plus

    · Bonus: Professional technical certifications in security, DevOps, programming, or auditing fields

    · Must be willing to travel to HQ in VA and R&D in TN up to 15% of the time

    · Must be a US Citizen and subject to a background check and unannounced drug testing requirements
