The EDEKA Group Nordbayern-Sachsen-Thüringen, based in Rottendorf, is one of seven regional companies within the cooperative EDEKA network.

With around 900 stores, mostly operated by independent EDEKA merchants in Northern Bavaria, Northern Baden-Württemberg, Saxony, and Thuringia, we supply daily necessities such as fruits and vegetables, dairy products, ultra-fresh convenience foods, meat and sausage products from our own production, as well as a wide range of dry and non-food items.

In 2018, our group's turnover was approximately 3.6 billion euros. Together with the independent retail sector, the EDEKA Group employs around employees and 1,100 apprentices in the region.
