Location: 441 W Kirkpatrick Street, Syracuse NY
Part Time: 10-30 hours/week, no benefits
Are you someone who loves making a positive impact in the lives of individuals with developmental disabilities? If the answer is yes, LAUNCH invites you to join our team as a Direct Support Professional for our Community Habilitation program.
About the Role
As a Direct Support Professional, you will have a crucial role in assisting individuals with developmental disabilities in our Community Habilitation program. This important program provides one-on-one or small group services aimed at developing independent living skills both at home and in the community.
LAUNCH stands out from other agencies. As a LAUNCH DSP, you will be paid for the hours you are scheduled for, and we will assist you in finding additional clients to support if needed. Unlike other agencies, we don't provide that kind of support to their staff. All the work is focused on skill-building in the community, with no personal care or medication administration required. You will have flexible hours to fit around your schedule.
Employee Discounts, appreciation events, and referral bonuses are available. In addition, you may qualify for staff bonuses in July and December based on your work hours.

Responsibilities include:
Education & Experience
A high school diploma is required, and experience working with individuals with various disabilities is preferred. No experience? No problem. If you have an interest in supporting individuals with disabilities, let us know why, and we will provide training.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
We are seeking individuals with a diverse skill set, including effective communication, time management, critical thinking, basic technology proficiency, and strong written and verbal expression.
Conditions of Employment
Candidates must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
