    Looking to make a difference? Exceptional Family Resources is currently hiring direct support professionals (DSPs) for multiple departments. This is a perfect job for someone who has experience as a mentor, teacher, teaching aide, DSP, coach, or counselor; however, no experience is necessary or required.

    Our staff don't take care of people, they provide the supports necessary for someone to learn new skills while being out in the community. We have opportunities available for days, afternoons, evenings and/or weekends throughout Onondaga County.

    • Hours can vary and meet your schedule; typical workload is between 15 to 20 hours per week; however more hours may be possible.
    • If more than 20 hours per week are worked, benefits become available if all qualifications are met.
    • Positions start at $12.25/hour; higher rate may be available depending on acceptable professional experience.

    No experience in human services is required. High School Diploma/GED, valid NYS Driver's License, and access to a reliable vehicle required.
