    Description

    Requirements:
    Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited institution. Minimum of three (3) years of experience in an electrical field.
    Understanding of the company's core values and services.
    Knowledge and practice of safety precautions related to working with electrical equipment.

    Demonstrated ability to provide service to all lines of business within the company and represent company interests in developing customer relationships to assure long-term customer satisfaction.

    Submit to periodic customer required background and drug screenings.
    Must maintain a valid and unrestricted driver's license.


    Desirable Qualifications:
    Master's Degree in Engineering from an accredited institution.5+ years of experience in an electrical field.
    PE License.

    • Experience in testing, troubleshooting, evaluating, and servicing electrical distribution and control systems is highly desirable.
    • Experience performing power quality measurements, troubleshooting, and analysis are highly desirable. Working knowledge with power systems analysis to conduct short circuit/Arc Flash/Breaker coordination studies (including software applications of SKM) is highly desirable.
    Experience with protective relays is highly desirable.

    • Experience with NFPA, IEEE and NETA testing standards and practices.
    Existing certification or equivalent skills/experience is desirable for testing procedures. NICET Electrical Power Testing Certification is highly desirable

    • Working knowledge and experience in Commissioning and QA/QC practices of electrical distribution equipment is highly desirable.
    • Possess understanding of installation and working knowledge of large UPS systems, Static Switches, PDU's is highly desirableExperience with power transformer testing is desirable - (Doble, TTR, Insulation Resistance, etc.) Experience with cable testing is desirable - (Tan Delta, Power Factor, VLF, DC Hi-Pot)Experience conducting Low, Medium, High voltage switchgear and circuit breaker testing is highly desirable
