    Job DescriptionOur growing Dallas office is seeking an Electrical Engineer with five to nine years of experience in the consulting engineering field, who is passionate about their craft and looking for an environment that promotes professional growth.

    Applicants must be well versed in all aspects of electrical systems design and have experience developing construction documents from project conception to completion.

    The desired individual should be comfortable consulting to architects, owners, and general contractors, and have a desire to work as part of a multidiscipline engineering team.

    QualificationsQualifications:
    B.S.

    in Electrical Engineering from an accredited college or universityMinimum five (5) /Maximum nine (9) years of relevant electrical engineering experiencePE license in Electrical EngineeringPast experience with a multidiscipline engineering/consulting firm for a minimum of four (4) yearsExperience with at least one of the following:

    federal, commercial, or industrial project designKnowledge of the NFPA 70 (National Electrical Code)Exceptional written and verbal communication skills Experience in telecommunications, security, AV, or cybersecurity design is a plusExperience with AutoCAD and Revit, Bluebeam, and general electronic drawing format software (Preferred)ResponsibilitiesDesign electrical plans and specifications for a variety of building typesDevelop scope of work for electrical designsPerform electrical discipline peer reviewsContribute to Coffman's marketing and business initiatives as neededDesire to lead inter-disciplinary projects and project teamsInteraction with Clients and AHJs throughout the design processThis position is not eligible for sponsorship.
