    Onsite in West Houston - must have solid documented ML/AI project experience

    We have a client in West Houston with a Project Manager (PM) role focused on Machine Learning (ML) and Artificial Intelligence (AI) projects. You'll be working on-site for 4 days a week under direct employment.

    Your ML/AI experience needs to be clearly outlined on your resume, detailing project scopes and the ML/AI elements involved.

    As a Project Manager in the Data & Analytics team, your role revolves around driving business transformation through projects. We seek an individual with a dynamic and driven nature, able to contribute expertise in project management and Data Analytics.

    You will oversee the successful planning, execution, and delivery of Data & Analytics projects.

    ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
    • Support Product Delivery Lead in managing end-to-end AI/ML projects, from start to finish.
    • Detail project scope, goals, and deliverables, creating comprehensive project plans.
    • Work with Product Owner to outline project requirements and establish project timelines.
    • Efficiently allocate resources, ensuring project teams operate effectively.
    • Conduct Scrum/Project planning meetings to monitor progress, identify and address risks, issues, and dependencies.
    • Track project advancement, key metrics, and provide stakeholder updates on project status.
    • Manage project budgets and resources to meet financial objectives.
    • Coordinate with cross-functional teams for smooth alignment and execution.
    • Ensure project deliverables meet quality standards and customer expectations.
    • Promote effective communication and collaboration among project team members.
    • Offer leadership and mentorship on Project Management best practices to team members.
    QUALIFICATIONS
    • Hold a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Analytics, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
    • Minimum 5 years of experience as a Project Manager / Scrum Master within the AI/ML industry.
    • Possess in-depth knowledge of AI/ML concepts, technologies, and methodologies.
    • Demonstrate experience in managing projects involving AI/ML development, deployment, and integration.
    • Strong organizational and time management skills.
    • Effective problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.
    • Manage multiple projects and tasks with effective prioritization.
    • Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
    • Proficiency with project management tools and software.
    • Strong analytical and critical thinking competencies.
    • Experience in agile development environments is advantageous.
    • Project management certification (Agile, PMP, etc.) is a bonus.
    SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
    • This role may involve overseeing direct reports based on project and organizational arrangements.
