- Develop, review and maintain policies, control procedures and practices relating to all accounting related functions including cost accounting, A/P, A/R, vendor credit, general ledger, month end closing, fixed assets, and risk management, while complying with GAAP standards.
- Prepare and timely publish weekly, monthly, and annual reports (including trended dashboard) which summarize and forecast company business activity and financial position in areas of income, expenses, and earnings based on past, present, and expected operations.
- Prepare detailed departmental and company-wide annual budgets and manage variances.
- Manage bank activity; deposits, withdrawals, exchanges, transfers, covenants and balance reconciliation.
- Manage cash flow; including payment and collections schedules.
- Execute payroll processes maintaining compliance and ensuring accuracy.
- Conduct financial/business modeling and analysis as necessary.
- Manage fixed assets and related depreciation schedules.
- Prepare financial statements and related supporting schedules to support state/federal tax filings and regulations.
- Manage third party annual internal review of company financial statements.
- Supervise or oversee the work of Accounting/Finance employees.
- Able to communicate work with others to set and accomplish goals.
- Works closely with Department Leaders and Executive Team.
- Able to organize, plan, and prioritize work.
- Actively tracks and plans work, and time required to meet goals.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, MBA preferred.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience with at least 5 years' experience in engineer-to-order manufacturing business, or equivalent. 5+ years of experience and deep understanding of percent of completion accounting. Supervisory experience strongly preferred.
- Licensed CPA preferred.
- ERP system documentation and implementation experience preferred.

The Accounting Manager will report directly to the CFO with the opportunity to be promoted to CFO over time.
