    Director Home Office Claims and we hope that might be you

    You will develop and implement indemnity and loss adjustment control programs. Develop claims staff at all levels, ensure operations meet file quality expectations and strategic objectives.

    As a senior leader in the Claims Organization you will lead the Home Office Consultant, SIU, Audit, and Legacy Runoff Teams.

    Your Role Explained.

    Roles and responsibilities of the

    Director Home Office Claims position include:


    Claims Leadership:


    Manage claims activities for all of Home Office Consultant, SIU, Audit, and Legacy Runoff Teams and develop claims strategies in conjunction with other senior Claims management personnel to ensure successful department results.


    Staff Management:
    Recruit, select, and train employees to meet department objectives.


    Coverage Analysis:
    Research, analyze, interpret, and provide coverage claim determinations on policy contracts and the legal climate for our customer base.


    Audit/Consultation:
    Develop processes and ensure procedural and special audits are consistent and meet all regulatory and company guidelines.


    Budgeting:
    Develop and manage overall Claims budget to meet department financial objectives.

    Business Experience:

    10 years Litigation or claims audit experience

    5 years Leadership in a claims operation

    Educational Requirements

    BA/BS Business or related field

    Juris Doctorate – Preferred


    Other Requirements:
    Travel may be required to attend conferences, trials, mediations, arbitrations and other required travel or meetings


    For this position we offer a flexible schedule within the department operating hours of 8:00 am to 6:30 pm MT, with collaborating hours between 10:00 am to 3:00 pm MT.


    The pay range for this position is $116,210 – $186,555annually; however, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills and experience.

    The company also offers a full range of medical, financial and other benefits, including eligibility for the company's performance sharing plan and paid time off such as holidays, vacation, sick and personal holidays.
