- Generate sales revenues by performing product demonstrations at selected customer sites. Evaluate customer requirements for this purpose, including installation location, mounting requirements, customer engineering drawings, CAD/CAM data, inspection plans and rapid prototyping requirements.
- Develop a complete and expert knowledge of Shining 3D's hardware and software products to demonstrate products to key individuals and organizations for marketing and sales purposes (trade shows, engineering associations, etc.)
- Identify additional sales opportunities outside of traditional channels.
- Utilize all available resources including sales management, Inside Sales Specialists, Applications Engineers, marketing and others to advance and close sales.
- Work as part of the sales team to generate ideas for company sales opportunities, processes and systems.
- Act as point of contact and provide technical support to potential customers during the evaluation period
- Effectively communicate recommendations for hardware and software changes to Applications Engineers and R&D as requested by customers.
- Achieve monthly/quarterly/annual sales performance goals as required.
- Knowledge of CAD.
- Ability to work independently, travel extensively within territory.
- Bachelor's degree in the mechanical engineering discipline strongly preferred or related engineering degree preferred.
- Bilingual in English/Spanish is a plus.
- Background in automotive, aerospace, power generation, metalworking, machinery, etc.
- 3D scanner, 3D printer, lasers and quality control, familiarity with 3D productions - experience selling 3D related products a strong plus.
- Demonstrated ability to isolate and identify technical problems, formulate and demonstrate solutions.
