JOB TITLE

Water Resources Engineer / Project Manager

SKILLS OR DISCIPLINES SOUGHT

Seeking individuals with professional experience in Project Management for engineering, water resources, heavy civil construction and/or infrastructure design related projects. Qualified candidates will possess experience in one or more of the following disciplines as indicated in the job description, and can demonstrate a strong knowledge of project management skills, scheduling, organization, communication, and management of work flows in engineering and/or civil construction.

DISCIPLINES SOUGHT (Candidates should have experience in at least one (or more) of the following disciplines)

Project Management for Civil Public Works Projects

Site and Civil Construction

Civil Engineering

Environmental Engineering / Water Resources Engineering

Environmental Sciences

Value Engineering / Cost Estimation for Civil Public Works Projects

Hydrology and Hydraulic Engineering

Preferred candidates must have experience in reading and understanding construction plans.

EXPERIENCEWITH COMPUTER APPLICATIONS SOUGHT

Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint)

Adobe Acrobat

Autodesk AutoCAD (preferred but not required)

Bentley MicroStation (preferred but not required)

ArcGIS (preferred but not required)

EXPERIENCE WITH MODELING SOFTWARE APPLICATIONS SOUGHT

(Preferred But not Required)

HEC-RAS, HEC-HMS, ICPR, MikeUrban, Infoworks ICM, Flo-2D, XP-SWMM, EPA-SWMM, WMS, TUFLOW, ASAD, GEOPAK, PondPack

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

Four Year Degree in Civil Engineering or Environmental Engineering

*For applicants with four-year engineering degrees, professional licensure (P.E.) is not required to be considered for employment, although it is preferred.

Candidates with a Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification are also preferred.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Must be able to stand, bend, sit, lift, and drive.

Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.

WORK AUTHORIZATION

Must be authorized to work in the United States of America

OTHER REQUIREMENTS

Must pass a State and Federal criminal history/security pre-employment background check

Must pass pre-employment drug screening

Must be willing to participate in an Employment Eligibility Verification through the Department of Homeland Security E-Verify system

PAY CLASSIFICATION

Full-Time Hourly (40 Hours/Week Minimum)
