Landscaping Account Manager Naples - Estate Landscaping & Lawn Management

***:- In this position the Account Manager is primary client contact for all jobs in the area._
PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Field Management
- Develop production activity calendar
- Review new equipment technology
- Plant, Turf & Tree Health Care (finalize annual agronomic plans, develop selective pruning schedule
- Schedule Summer aeration
- Maintains familiarity with each job's specifications and insures compliance.
- Develops and maintains schedules for maintenance work on all jobs.
- Creates routes for crews and coordinates manpower, equipment and materials.
- Monitors and arranges schedules for irrigation system on job sites.
- Monitor and arrange schedule for pest control and fertilization.
- Manages equipment needs and sees that all equipment in the area is properly maintained.
- Manage designated work teams
- Employee reviews, discipline & skill set assessment
- Production & efficiency
- Scheduling & seasonal startup
- Solve production related issues
- Implement agronomic plan
- Develop & update production activity calendar
- Equipment utilization & asset management
- Manage asset newness
- Oversee all support regimes (shop support, supply chain support, adm. support, resources support such as vendor, supplier, Sub Contractor, etc.), financial tool support (systems understanding & education).
Safety
- Oversee to insure safe operations
- Orient new employees
- Strictly adhere to all safety policies
- Discipline aggressively
- Job site safety
- Equipment utilization safety
- Loadunload and dispatch safety
- Sub Contractor & Vendors safe operations
- Spring, summer & fall safety training
- Conduct site safety
Quality Control
- Inspect prior to crew visit
- Perform quality walks with crew leaders
- Perform OTJ Training
- Manage weather related events
- Implement technological advancements
- Specification engineering
- Curb appeal management
Client Relations
- Informs clients of problems and changes concerning their properties in a timely manner.
- Sees that client requests are responded to in a timely manner.
- Anticipates client needs in a proactive manner.
- Life cycle management landscaping
- Lawn & ornamental fertilization plans with Pest Control Manager
- Pest management plans with Pest Control Manager
- Arbor culture plans
- Air & light management
- Water management
- Life cycle replacement plan
- Life cycle management irrigation
- Controller upgrades
- Valve and head retrofits
- Understand contractual obligations & specifications
- Review each contract specifications
- Provide activity calendar to work team leaders
- Reaffirm contractual understanding with customer
- Address contractual dispute immediately
- Re-Engineer specifications periodically (technology advancements, contractual mistakes, site learning's, market shifts & client observations
- Develop client & work team
- Influencing relationship
- Managing relationship
Budget
- Insure budget compliance
- Post job cost daily (if applicable)
- Review budget to actual reports weekly (if applicable)
- Address suspected estimating errors immediately positive & negative
- Report site condition changes immediately
- Manage agronomic plan & watering schedules
- Periodically adjust budgets based upon lessons learned, market conditions & technological advancements
- Uncontrollable (uncontrollable costs, weather phenomena's, economic phenomena's & market shifts/market conditions
Personnel Development (if not a dedicated operations supervisor)
- Screens, hires and terminates employees within their area.
- Evaluates performance of foreman and makes recommendations regarding wages.
- Develops training goals for all subordinate personnel.
- Develop training matrix
- Develop and post training board
- Conduct weekly "refresher" training
- Develop training library
- Develop skill driven wage policies
- Oversee employee policy training
- Conduct "lesson learned" reviews
- Insure best practice & standard practice training
Sales
- Oversee project enhancement & landscape upgrades
- Develop a responsible enhancement plan for each project (safety, life cycle, long term cost management, curb appeal
- Oversee enhancement work team efficiency
- Oversee enhancement work team quality
- Oversee budget to actual
- Conduct lessons learned reviews
- Sell Enhancement projects. This includes bid preparation, submittal, and overseeing project until completion.
- Develop new leads of Maintenance Prospects
- Target sales for increased route density.
- New account Sales, Be able to measure for bid estimate, create bid proposals and present /close sale
- Manage renewals (Re-Conversion)
- Establish trust competency, communications, corporate
- Maintain a client management schedule
- Set high standards

- Oversee & administrate field related reporting
- Time sheet reporting
