The University of Bayreuth, with its family-oriented campus, is one of the largest employers in the region. In the Department I - Legal, Academic and Student Affairs, Family-Friendly University, we are looking to fill a position as

Director (m/f/d) of the Student Office

full-time (40.1 hours/week). The position is initially limited to two years. Upon successful performance, permanent employment is possible. In the case of internal applicants, an exception to the intended limitation may be possible.

If the requirements for civil service are met, a transfer to a civil servant position is possible after two years.

Your responsibilities:

As the director of the Student Office, you will coordinate its workflows and serve as the main contact for your employees
You will be responsible for the webbased campus management system (CAMPUSonline) for all areas of the Student Office
You will also handle administrative tasks (such as enrollment, deregistration, aptitude assessment procedures, reregistration) especially in difficult cases, as well as the preparation of statistics in accordance with legal requirements
In your role, you will work constructively across departments, for example with teaching staff
