    Job Title: Senior Living Wellness Coordinator

    Job Summary:

    We are seeking a dynamic and compassionate Senior Living Wellness Coordinator to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and implementing a wide range of wellness programs and activities to promote the physical, social, and emotional well-being of our senior residents.

    Key Responsibilities:


    • Develop and implement a comprehensive wellness program that meets the needs and interests of our senior residents


    • Plan and coordinate a variety of activities, including fitness classes, educational seminars, social events, and recreational activities


    • Collaborate with internal departments (e.g., activities, dining, transportation) to ensure seamless program delivery


    • Build relationships with external partners and vendors to enhance wellness offerings


    • Conduct wellness assessments and develop individualized wellness plans for residents


    • Provide support and resources to residents to help them achieve their wellness goals


    • Collect and analyze data to evaluate program effectiveness and make data-driven decisions


    • Stay current with industry trends and best practices in senior wellness


    • Develop and manage program budgets and resources


    • Supervise and mentor wellness staff, providing guidance and support for professional development

    Requirements:


    • Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., health promotion, gerontology, recreational therapy)


    • 2+ years of experience in senior living or a related field


    • Proven experience in program planning and coordination


    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills


    • Ability to work collaboratively and build strong relationships with residents, families, and team members


    • Compassionate and empathetic approach to care


    • Familiarity with senior living regulations and industry standards (e.g., HIPAA, OSHA)


    • Ability to work variable shifts, including weekends and holidays, as needed


    • Certification in a related field (e.g., fitness, wellness coaching) preferred
