    Ramboll Americas Engineering Solutions, Inc.     Ramboll is seeking a highly motivated Senior Lead Consultant or Manager to join the Pacific Northwest Business Unit (Seattle, Washington, Vancouver, Washington, or Portland, Oregon).

    To succeed in this role, you must have the following educational and work experience:

    • B.S. or M.S. in a relevant engineering discipline (civil, environmental, or chemical) or in a relevant science discipline (geology or hydrogeology)
    • 8+ years of relevant environmental consulting, including environmental site investigation and characterization, and regulatory review, interpretation, and compliance in the Pacific Northwest region
    • Demonstrate experience working with state agencies to pursue site closure
    • Experience in scoping environmental assessments to develop proposals, including desktop analysis and field investigations
    • Experience with managing a team of supporting scientists to deliver high quality and on-time deliverables
    • Experience with training team members to expand skill sets

    The following additional areas of experience are preferred:

    • Experience with multiple environmental media (e.g., soil, groundwater, sediment, surface water, soil vapor, air)
    • Experience with multiple contaminant classes (e.g., chlorinated solvents, hydrocarbons, metals, PCBs, and/or PFAS and other emerging contaminants)
    • Feasibility study analysis and cost analysis
    • Remediation design, implementation, O&M, and regulatory closure
    • Property transaction support/due diligence
    • Environmental litigation consulting
    • Project management experience

    You will join our Pacific Northwest Business Unit

    As a Senior Lead Consultant or Manager, you will join our team of scientists and engineers located in and associated with our Seattle, Washington office, or working remotely from Vancouver, Washington or Portland, Oregon.

    Your key tasks and responsibilities will include:

    • Provide technical analysis of complicated site contamination and regulatory compliance issues and prepare technical reports that effectively communicate findings.
    • Evaluate remedial alternatives and develop remedial action plans and cost estimates considering client needs, technical feasibility, and regulatory environment.
    • Prepare technical analyses and write reports that effectively communicate findings, including in support of consulting and testifying experts on environmental litigation matters.
    • Assess emerging contaminant risks and impacts for sites and portfolios of sites.
    • Support the assessment, valuation, management and reporting of environmental liabilities.
    • Draw upon prior experience to provide advisory support to industry, government, and legal clients, helping them to achieve better, more sustainable outcomes.
    • Critically review and interpret environmental regulations.
    • Lead and conduct multiple projects simultaneously and meet high quality standards on project deliverables.
    • Take on leadership roles in supporting internal and external clients.
    • Demonstrate leadership in implementing corporate health and safety standards.
    • Leverage experience and skill set to support training of other team members.

    At Ramboll, your base pay is only part of your overall total compensation package. At the time of this posting, this role is likely to be compensated at an annualbase salary between $92,000 - $100,500. Actual pay may be more or less than the posted range, depending on numerous factors, includingexperience, geographical location, internal equity, market conditions, education/training andskill level, and does not include bonuses, overtime, or other forms of compensation or benefits.
